Sevany Appavoo

​

29 years old Sevany Appavoo is an international Visual Art artist and Art
Manager, founder and president at SaveArt Association. Having a deep
leaning towards photography, she is well known for her professional
photographic skills. Sevany is also a part time educator and the Managing
Director at S.Appavoo Events Producer and Planner Company.

 

She is a registered Visual Art artist at the Ministry of arts and culture and at the National Art Gallery of Mauritius.Holder of a Bsc(Hons) in Tourism Event
and Hospitality management (UOM) and diploma in Tourism Management
(MITD ,EHSGD Mauritius jointly with French Universities and Polytechnic
schools of Hoteliers).She did her courses in photography at the Mauritius
Institute of Training and Development at Ebene ,(MITD) and is a professional
art photographer.

She has specialized herself in the Art event field by working since the last
decade as Art manager for artists. Promoting them locally and internationally.
She has been organizing and participating as well in up to more than 20
exhibitions and many art live activities and events with many governmental
and renown nongovernmental organizations locally and internationally. With
her teaching background she has been able to acquire a better grounding by
working with academic institution and many NGO’s to help deprived children
through art therapeutic events hosted by my company and association. We
believe now that it is high time to make art part of every home across the
island.
