Dhyaneswar Dausoa : "Sculptures of my creation are in wood, stone and metal. Those in wood and stone are mostly carved in round and free standing, whereas those in metals are in assemblage with the techniques of hammering, welding and grinding. These materials are worked out with care and without any torture. In spite of being carved or assembled they show an impression of being sensibly modelled. They are generally stylized, symbolic figurative forms situated between the conventional and the abstract. Movements are inspired from vegetation, nature and human activities. Some of them are elongated with vertical ascent, giving the expression of sublime spiritual attainment while others have volumes giving the feeling of liberation and expansion in the environment. Art has an important role to play in human life and to serve certain social cause. Evidently it is a silent language which communicates with the spirit. Art doesn't belong to the creating artists alone but to the whole society."...
